- In order to get a manufacturer to make you a sample we suggest you choose a Chinese manufacturer from our approved manufacturers list
- Request a quote based on the specifications you require (see "designing your box" page) via email. Include any photos or images that could be helpful.
- If you have a similar or identical box to that which you require, send it (via TNT or FEDEX) only after a competitive quote has been received.
- They will then provide you with a sample and a final quote. They may or may not charge you for the sample, but if they do it should only be a nominal amount.
- If you approve the sample then place your order and sign the contract that the manufacturer will prepare (make sure you read it fully).
- If any significant changes need to be made to the sample we strongly recommend requesting another sample before you part with any money.
- A common pitfall is not clearly explaining your requirements to the manufacturer. Incorrect samples are then
received, time is wasted and frustration occurs.
- Always remember that your aim here is to save money. UK manufacturers will always be able to supply
you with exactly what your require, and quickly........but will be far more expensive.
